(The hemolytic streptococci)

Serological Basis - Group specific C carbohydrate antigen


19 Lancefield Groups ( A-H , K-U )

Group A – Streptococcus pyogens

Serological typing (Basis - M Protein)
Griffith types (1,2,3,etc..)
